Job Summary and Qualifications
We are currently recruiting for a Volunteer Coordinator to join our team! As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will oversees all aspects of the volunteer experience, including selection, training, recognition, and operations. You will interact with patients and their families to provide a high level of customer service and ensure total satisfaction with patient and visitor experience. We are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!
What you will do in this role:
- You will choose new volunteers using an effective selection process.
- You will continue to seek and solicit new sources of volunteer candidates.
- You will provide new hire and ongoing training to volunteers.
- You will oversee the H2U affiliate group; maintain newsletter, solicit new members, coordinate meetings and activities.
- You will maintain gift shop inventory and documentation.
- You will recognize and celebrate volunteers and the services they provide. You will host recognition events and track hours.
- You will be responsible for providing clerical support for the day-to-day operations of the department.
What Qualifications you will need:
- High School graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Previous customer service experience
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Bachelors Degree
