Job Description :
- Work in a small, team-oriented environment in a brand-new inpatient hospital facility.
- Unit has 16 Med / Surg / Tele beds with a nursing team averaging 8 years of experience.
- Collaborate with a night shift team of 1 House Supervisor / CNC and 2 RNs, maintaining patient ratios of 4-5 : 1.
- Manage telemetry with remote monitoring and a central monitor at the nurse station using the Meditech EMR system.
- Perform typical procedures on the unit, including post-operative care for ortho and GI patients, phlebotomy, IVs, and occasional medication drips.
- Foster a team-oriented atmosphere where colleagues support one another.
