Job Summary and Qualifications

As an EKG Technician you will be asked to produce recordings of electromotive variations in patient’s heart muscles, using electrocardiograph (ECG), to provide data for diagnosis of heart ailments. You will work with professional and non-professional employees of the hospital and with physicians, patients, and their families. What you will do in this role:

• You will complete cardiology procedures for patients. You will review the results of the procedures to assure quality studies have been obtained and consult with other disciplines as required to communicate results and patient status as necessary to ensure optimal service.
• You will have the ability to work as a team player and meet the needs of the department.

What qualifications you will need:

• Completion of an EKG interpretation course is required.
• Current BLS certification required.

• 2 years of experience required.
