Job Summary And Qualifications

As the Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling elective inductions, medical inductions and Cesarean Sections. You will schedule pre-operative appointments for labor inductions and surgical cases in the Labor and Delivery department. What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will obtain all appropriate information required for the scheduling of outpatient procedures.
• You will utilize clerical skills efficiently in fulfilling position responsibilities.
• You must be proficient in utilization of computer systems to accomplish position responsibilities.
• You will ensure quality care to patients, adhering to policies, procedures, and standards.
• You will uphold the highest standards of customer service at all times (“customer” includes patients, family members, co-workers, referring physicians, etc.).
  
  

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Computer literate, medical terminology and excellent communication skills is required.
• Surgical Technician experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
• One year Scheduler experience is required.
