Job Summary and Qualifications
As Financial Analyst you will be partnering in development and execution of strategies to improve Division operations. Supporting Division, hospitals and markets for financial and operational reporting, guidance and analytics. Support training of DPSs and PAs to enable them to train, educate and guide practice managers.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO :
Engage as an operational partner for assigned management team
Strategically focus operational actions through projecting, forecasting and budgeting financial results, while also working with operational leadership and management to implement strategies and tactics to improve forecasted results
Identify outliers and negative trends in revenue cycle performance and work with operations to achieve targeted improvements for the Division, specialties and individual providers.
Assist finance team with presentation and analysis of monthly financial results, including assembly of the MOR packages, for Group, Division and hospital leadership. The focus of these presentations is to identify and drive strategies for operational improvement based upon analysis of run rate performance and / or forecasts that identify variation from budgets or trend.
Partner with and provide strategic guidance to Division, hospitals and operational management through financial analysis, ad hoc reports, proformas and forecasts including establishment of performance targets and operational execution to achieve targeted performance
Attend operations, physician, and hospital meetings for strategic planning and review and provide Reporting, Analytics, Forecasts and Strategic insight.
Support implementation and tracking of strategies, special projects and other duties as assigned
Maintain strictest confidentiality to ensure that privileged and / or proprietary information is adequately safeguarded against disclosure. Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement.
Perform other duties as needed
EDUCATION :
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required. Additional related experience would be considered in lieu of a completed degree program.
EXPERIENCE :
Two years of financial analysis experience preferred, ideally in a physician practice management or healthcare-related environment
