Technology Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee internal and external day-to-day IT operations of HCJ, providing overall management of technology vendor(s), and a comprehensive on-going IT project management plan.
- Oversee investments in technology hardware, software, and talent to meet the goals and objectives of HCJ. Ensure that all initiatives in the IT portfolio have clear business goals and success metrics.
- Provide strategic direction and vision to direct the overall design of HCJ’s technology platform to ensure current and future business goals can be met.
- Assist in the creation and management of procurement processes for the acquisition of technology products and services.
- Ongoing, this role will oversee and ensure technology vendor deliverables, contractual requirements, performance guarantees, and implementation and testing milestones are met.
- Direct technology strategy and operations, including management of computer hardware and software, telecommunications, and networks.
- Report to the Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer on a regular basis, and participate in Leadership Team meetings —i.e., privacy and security, solution architecture, solution integration systems, data migration, solution testing, and auditing.
- Assist with department and firm projects as needed.
- Assist with annual technology budgeting process as needed.
- Maintain inventory of all hardware. Assist with acquisition and disposals.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies that can improve IT systems performance and increase company profits through efficiencies.

- Maintains a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Great understanding of Cloud based computing and implementation of such systems with strong knowledge of IT Systems, Networks, and software solutions.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects / tasks with an attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- 8 years of experience managing technology and information resources.
- 2 years of management experience; either in a leadership role or project management.
- Experience providing strategic IT direction.
