Job Description for Application Packaging:

ð Ability to handle customer as single point for application packaging requirement.

ð Experience in Windows 7/8/10 Migration projects w.r.t application packaging, testing.

ð Proficient in Admin Studio/Install shield

ð Rich Experience in VB/WMI scripting, Batch Scripting, PowerShell scripting & PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit

ð Well versed in application testing and remediation techniques for producing Windows 7/8 compatible applications. Tools like ACT 5.6 should be known.

ð Expertise with VMware Workstation/ Oracle Virtual Box to work on the Virtual Builds.

ð Knowledge of Creating /Repackaging applications using various Packaging Tools like Wise or Admin Studio.

ð Sound Knowledge on Windows Installer Technologies - MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, Standard Actions.

ð Expertise in Application Virtualization Technologies, App-V 4.6, 5.0.

ð Troubleshooting using various tools like FileMon/RegMon, PictureTaker etc.

ð Good Understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows Servers, Windows 7/8/10), Registry, File systems, Services packs, Patches, installation and uninstall mechanisms.

ð Knowledge on packaging for Terminal Server applications.

ð Customer Coordination and proactively assisting team in resolving issues.

ð Expertise in Application Compatibility Testing and Remediation.

ð Working Knowledge of Citrix AppDNA tool and understanding of issues and reports

ð Basic Understanding/Live Hands on of deployment technologies majorly SCCM

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to HCL policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to HCL policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off (PTO) per year (some positions are eligible for unlimited PTO); and 10 paid holidays per year.
