Role/Responsibilities:
SAP MES/PP MFG Logistics Solution Architect.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP MES solutions for Life Science Industry.
- Work in conjunction with external systems integrators and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of quality solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP MES and PP modules and/or other MES applications to meet business needs, including MFG, Production Planning, Logistics, Quality Management, Shop Floor Control, Plant Maintenance and Performance Analysis.
- Solution Architect with MFG and Logistics experience
- East coast strong preferred.
- LSH industry is a MUST
- Strong knowledge of SAP Best Practice
- Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, test plans and user manuals.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of MES solutions.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting and performance tuning to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SAP MES technologies and recommend process improvements and enhancements.
Required Skills And Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- 12 years of SAP ECC & S/4 Hanna experience with shop floor control, production planning, inventory management and supporting master data.
- 6 years of experience in MES implementation, configuration, and support.
- Proficiency in MES software platforms such as Rockwell Software, Digital Manufacturing or similar.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production scheduling, quality management and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in handling PLC, HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).
- Proven track record of successfully leading MES implementations, including project planning, system configuration, and user training.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and control IT initiatives within budget and timeline.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
SAP MES or PP SCM certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.
To define solution architecture for complex business requirements and established standards in line with the defined future state enterprise IT landscape. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. To assess the domain IT landscape assessment and Application portfolio optimization for gap analysis
2. Creation of solution and architectural views (logical| conceptual| development| execution| infrastructure & operations architecture)
3. To collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, including leaders, project managers, and development teams, to understand and prioritize requirements while defining the architecture.
4. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new and emerging products/technologies
5. To drive innovation by exploring and recommending new solutions within the organization.
6. To contribute towards white/technical papers and knowledge base
Pay and Benefits:
Pay Range Minimum: $106,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $217,800 per year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
