Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with procedures in the ambulatory surgery center, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Offer specialized care for infectious disease management and ostomy care as needed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and physical conditions, documenting changes accurately in Cerner or other electronic health record systems.
- Educate patients and families on health management, including infant care when applicable.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on physiology knowledge and standards of practice.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in the state of practice.
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery center or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
- Experience or training in infectious disease care and ostomy care is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
