Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Manage day-to-day field operations, manpower, and equipment for the drilling division.
  • Plan, select, and allocate labor, equipment, and material resources.
  • Work seamlessly with drill crews, general foreman, project managers, division manager, and executive leadership.
  • Responsible for managing and enforcing field safety to Supreme’s safety program standards.
  • Coordinate, implement, and manage construction schedules.
  • Establish and maintain a positive culture focused on safety, quality, honesty, and production.
  • Travel required based on project locations and requirements.

Competency & Abilities :

  • Demonstrate exceptional standards of positive culture, safety, compliance, quality, attention to detail, and production.
  • Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously throughout the Northeast US territory, prioritize work tasks, and manage time / resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong communication (verbal and nonverbal) and interpersonal skills to interface with crews, management team, executives, clients, and subs.
  • Core independent values of trust, integrity, and positive culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email.

    • Qualifications / Experience :

  • 10 years’ experience in heavy civil construction. Experience within ROW transmission, substation, or other energy / power related markets is preferred.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Experience in vertical drilling. Preferred experience with direct embed installation, drilled shaft foundation installation, vibratory caisson installation, crane work / critical pick plans, drill tooling, rigging, and equipment.
  • Prior experience in managing at least 6 drill or civil crews and 2 general foreman.
  • Thorough understanding of drilling operations, safety standards, best practices, and fleet.
