WHO WE NEED:
We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Manager (Mobile) who is eager to jump in and lead a couple of development teams using mobile and web technologies and coach a group of 10-15 people (developers and testers).
If you're a fit, the following things should sound like you:
- Proven experience managing software development teams (typically at least 2-3 years)
- Demonstrated capability in overseeing multiple products and platforms
- Experience managing either iOS or Android teams is a plus
- Successful track record in leading cross-functional and interdepartmental projects with significant impact
- History of implementing sustainable and impactful changes within development teams and among direct reports, utilizing best practices and new technologies
- Strong background in hiring, retaining, and developing high-performing developers and leaders
- Ability to manage multiple teams and/or concurrent projects with frequently changing priorities
- Hands-on experience with iOS or Android programming, including knowledge of Swift or Kotlin, is highly desirable
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively lead and coordinate teams at the product and department level
- Meet/exceed department-level quality and change management standards while seeking improvements
- Evaluate team construction and move resources to build the right team to solve the problems they face
- Maintain strong working relationships with executive and management peers across the organization
- Be capable of solving cross-team problems without Director / Executive support
- Be a critical contributor to department senior leadership meetings
