This is a hybrid position. Our client is seeking a Client Services Associate who will serve as a vital part of their team, providing administrative support to Financial Advisors and fostering strong client relationships.
The Client Services Associate will :
Act as primary point of contact for clients, for prompt and professional handling of client requests.
Maintain and update client records, ensuring accuracy and completeness for both new and existing relationships.
Prepare and process paperwork for opening new accounts, leveraging tools such as DocuSign or mailing physical copies when necessary.
Provide exceptional client service by assisting with account documentation, account updates, and facilitating online access.
Manage daily office tasks, including telephone coverage, client meeting coordination, travel and expense reports, and calendar management.
Support both internal and external client phone calls to ensure a high standard of care.
Daily Responsibilities :
Process service requests such as ACH transfers, wires, check disbursements, and journal entries.
Open new accounts by preparing and submitting all required documentation.
Send necessary forms (e.g., margin agreements, IRA forms) via DocuSign for signatures.
Monitor and process required minimum distributions (RMDs) for IRA accounts.
Handle account transfers using the ACAT system and process IRA contributions or distributions.
Act as a liaison between clients and online support teams to address account or access issues.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have :
Fluency in Pershing’s NetX360 platform.
Comprehensive knowledge of the brokerage industry and its procedures.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with a client-centric mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and DocuSign at an intermediate or advanced level.
A collaborative attitude, working effectively as part of a team.
