(In office) East Bay-based residential Design Build company is seeking a highly organized and experienced Office and HR Manager to join our team. We have an office with a casual atmosphere.

The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll, 401K, purchasing, and other office roles for a small company.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and separation processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Oversee employee benefits.
-Process daily time cards for bi-weekly payroll execution.
- Manage office operations, including office supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including EEO, OSHA, and FMLA.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files and attendance records.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain company Culture, review with direct reports, and execute monthly company events.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations, and provide guidance on compliance.
Skills
- Proficiency in HR management software, including QuickBooks.
- Experience with payroll administration and management of employee benefits.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
- Familiarity with office management and maintenance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits
