A day in the life...
As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible the housekeeping operations operations for the whole operation overseen by Noble House Hotels & Resorts. The goal is to maintain immaculately clean facilities; hire, train, and develop excellent employees; make the most effective use of combined resources; provide for the highest level of guest experience possible.
Key Accountabilities:
- Hire, train, supervise, coach, motivate and recognize the housekeeping staff.
- Oversee daily operations, sustainability programs, inventory, ordering, and scheduling all within a set department forecast.
- Inspect work performed by the housekeeping staff to ensure quality and cleanliness is top notch and consistent with brand standards.
- Greet and assist guests with all requests. Proactively garner relationships with long term and repeat guests to develop loyalty and maintain satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Department and Front Desk to achieve a consistent, high-quality product resulting in above average customer satisfaction scores.
- Ensure safe working practices and procedures are followed by all employees while maintaining department productivity requirements.
- Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies by monitoring usage, providing complete training for team members, and ensuring proper labeling of hazardous supplies in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
- Develop training procedures and standards that can be followed by all businesses.
- Develop schedules that make most effective use of available resources.
- Work with Maintenance Manager and hotel GM’s to develop and implement PM programs, inspection programs, fire-life safety programs, and deep-clean schedules.
- Manage vendors to ensure highest quality products are used at most effective pricing.
- Maintain order of materials and supplies.
You own this if you have…
- 3-5 years of experience managing full-service hotel or resort.
- 2 years or more of Housekeeping
- Bi-Lingual preferred.
- Must have a Valid Driver license and proof of insurance.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task. Strong time management skills.
- Excellent Skills with front office computer software, such as MS Word, Excel, and hotel reservation systems.
- You must carry a valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work cohesively as part of a team.
