Description

The primary job duties include developing a relationship with customers, discussing what they are looking for in a vehicle, showing them different cars on our sales floor that offer features they want and need, then explaining pricing and financing options. The goal is to provide a positive sales experience and ensure the customer is happy with their purchase. When not working with walk-in customers, Sales representatives develop and pursue leads.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Complete extensive training regarding the product line.
  • Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle options
  • Test drive vehicles to demonstrate automotive features
  • Complete quotes, return email/voicemail, other administrative functions and processing transaction paperwork
  • Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales

Qualifications


The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed. Our automotive sales representatives come from a variety of backgrounds ranging from entry level to career changers or experienced sales. Success does not hinge on precise work experience although experience in automotive sales is a huge plus.

  • Preferred prior experience as a sales representative in either automotive sales, inside sales, outside sales, retail sales or telemarketing sales
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
  • Basic computer software and internet proficiency
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Adhere to the company’s dress code policy
  • Adhere to the Tobacco-Free Campus Policy
  • Must be flexible with schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
