What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mazda Automotive Sales Associate position at Headquarter Mazda?
The primary job duties include developing a relationship with customers, discussing what they are looking for in a vehicle, showing them different cars on our sales floor that offer features they want and need, then explaining pricing and financing options. The goal is to provide a positive sales experience and ensure the customer is happy with their purchase. When not working with walk-in customers, Sales representatives develop and pursue leads.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Complete extensive training regarding the product line.
- Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle options
- Test drive vehicles to demonstrate automotive features
- Complete quotes, return email/voicemail, other administrative functions and processing transaction paperwork
- Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales
The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed. Our automotive sales representatives come from a variety of backgrounds ranging from entry level to career changers or experienced sales. Success does not hinge on precise work experience although experience in automotive sales is a huge plus.
- Preferred prior experience as a sales representative in either automotive sales, inside sales, outside sales, retail sales or telemarketing sales
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
- Basic computer software and internet proficiency
- Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
- Adhere to the companys dress code policy
- Adhere to the Tobacco-Free Campus Policy
- Must be flexible with schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
