What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Specialist - 2025-2026, 0.6 FTE (HHS/MBA) position at Healdsburg Unified?
Healdsburg Unified is seeking candidates for a part-time Education Specialist. This position would split their time between the two schools which shares the same campus; Healdsburg High School and Marce Becerra Academy (Alternative Education HS) for the 2025-2025 school year. The Education Specialist will serve as a classroom teacher (Directive Studies, ELA, Math, etc.) as well as Push-In into the general education setting and case management.
The ideal applicant would come to us with a preliminary or clear California Credential in Mild to Moderate Support Needs or equivalent or is an aspiring educator in the process of obtaining appropriate credentialing to qualify for an emergency permit. This position does require an authorization to teach English Learners. CA Education Specialist: Mild/Moderate credential with Autism, Resource & English Learning Authorizations required.
