Estimator / Quoter / Cost Accountant – Manufacturing

We are a small and rapidly growing manufacturer in the wire harness and cable assembly electronics business. Our customers are in three industries : Defense, Construction, and Agriculture. Waukesha, WI-based company has been in business 60 years and under new ownership. Unique opportunity to join a winning team and be part of an exciting transition. Quoting Responsibilities :

Gather material and labor costs per customer-provided BOM and blueprint(s)
Engage with customers' Engineering group for technical questions
Develop suggested pricing
Provide quote to customers
Re-cost customer PO's submitted with incorrect / outdated pricing

Education and Experience Requirements :

Associate’s Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Accounting, or Equivalent is preferred; High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required

2-years of Quoting experience, Manufacturing, or Customer Service experience

Bi-lingual in Spanish / English is preferred

Wire harness assembly experience is preferred

Physically fit and able to lift 25 lbs. or more

Quoting Skills :

ERP system proficiency

Excellent written and oral communication (Outlook, MS Office), Excel proficiency, good math instincts

Strong sense of urgency and good time management

Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams

Work Hours & Benefits :

Monday – Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm (all onsite)

50,000 - 60,000 / year, depending upon experience
