Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include:
- Various skill building activities
- Training of the caregiver
- Daily and Community Living Skills
- Adaptation Skills
- Development of Leisure Time Interest/Activities
- Symptom Monitoring and Management Skills
- Therapeutic mentoring
- Enhancement of communication and problem-solving skills
- Behavioral and symptom management
- Anger management
- Monitoring of psychiatric symptoms and self-management of symptoms and behaviors
- Social and other therapeutically relevant skill development
- Assist with family support, including training of family/caregivers and others who have a legitimate role in addressing the needs identified in the PCP
Qualification and Skills
- Possesses knowledge of the population that are being served
- Must be able to communicate orally and written
- Must have the ability to assist in the coordination of services, link referrals, and provide various skills building activities in conjunction with the Qualified Professional (QP)
- Provide support to the individuals that are being served in a respectful and non-demeaning manner
Requirements and Trainings
- High School Diploma or high school equivalency with supervision of a QP
- Criminal Record/Background check
- Valid Driver License
- First Aid/CPR (Adult and Children)
- Transportation with approved insurance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
