The Health and Welfare Council of Long Island (HWCLI) is a private, not for profit, health and human services planning, research/public education and advocacy organization that serves as the umbrella for public and non-profit agencies serving Long Island's poor and vulnerable individuals and families.
The Health Equity Alliance of Long Island (HEALI) is Long Island’s Social Care Network (SCN) of community-based organizations (CBOs) and healthcare providers building a person centric model that integrates healthcare, social care, and behavioral health care. HWCLI is the lead entity for the HEALI Social Care Network.
JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: Project Assistant, HEALI
HWCLI seeks an energetic, passionate, and socially conscious Project Assistant. This is a new position within the organization and reports directly to the Director of Performance. This role provides administrative support to the divisions of Training, Technical Assistance, and Performance Improvement. This department supports the implementation of the HEALI SCN and ensures the program meets desired outcomes and contractual deliverables on time, with model fidelity, and high quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the HEALI Director of Performance, division Program Managers and staff.
- Support the Division on project management using Monday.com including meeting notetaking, periodic check-ins, and maintenance of progress tracking, and task assignments
- Supports departmental coordination, resource sharing, and development of external and internal materials at the direction of the Director of Performance
- Supports calendar maintenance for Director of Performance and division managers by assisting with scheduling meetings, conferences, trainings, and travel when requested.
- Assists Director of Performance and division manager by ensuring meeting/training set ups are completed prior and meeting materials are prepared, providing note taking at meetings when requested
- Daily monitoring, triage, and delegation of HEALI partner support request tickets including external communications regarding TA, Training, and Performance items.
- Assists Training division by maintaining the Absorb learning management system, including user account support and providing administrative support to trainers when requested.
- Assists Technical Assistance division with material development, scheduling, and follow-up tracking as requested
- Assists Performance division with data cleaning and Unite Us platform exports
- Organize and attend meetings/events and facilitate all related administrative tasks/needs
- Prepare reports, presentations, and materials as requested in accordance with HEALI writing and branding guidelines.
- Supports the development and implementation of HEALI Social Care Network programs and tools at the director of the Director of Performance and Senior Director of Programs.
