Health Atlast Sherman Oaks is seeking a Full-Time Scheduling coordinator/Receptionist for a high-volume, multi-disciplinary medical office. Primary Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and confirm upcoming visits
- Keeping the schedule filled
- Greet and assist patients with inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Check patients in and out for appointments
- Manage a high call volume across multiple phone lines, providing excellent customer service
- Collecting copays and processing patient payments
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including documentation and correspondence
- Performing general office tasks (filing, scanning, copying, etc.)
- Maintaining and reordering office inventory and medical supplies as necessary
- Verifying patient insurance details and handling insurance-related inquiries
- Coordinating with attorneys on Personal Injury cases and related communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Must possess strong typing skills and be able to efficiently enter data
- Prior experience in an administrative role
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on phone etiquette
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and coordinate appointments effectively and efficiently
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, including data entry and filing
- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is a plus
