Job Overview :
The Scheduling Coordinator and Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring our pediatric therapy center runs smoothly. In this position you will manage the scheduling of therapy appointments handle front desk duties and provide an excellent first impression for all who visit or contact our clinic. This role requires experience in a fastpaced environment preferably within pediatric therapy and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for occupational speech and physical therapy services ensuring efficient use of clinic resources
- Answer phone calls emails and inperson inquiries with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Greet and checkin patients and families ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Verify and update patient information process paperwork and handle intake forms
- Assist with billing inquiries collect payments and process insurance claims when necessary
- Maintain organized records and confidential patient files
- Manage office supply inventory and maintain a clean organized front desk area
- Collaborate with therapists and other staff to optimize scheduling and patient flow
