Sales Development Representative (SDR)

As an SDR for HBG, you will help drive growth for some of the most exciting startups in healthcare and the life sciences!!
You’ll be on the front line of go-to-market efforts, raising awareness of our partner’s solutions, identifying high-potential prospects and setting up meaningful meetings that convert into real deals.
This is an ideal role for an early-career professional eager to build foundational skills in B2B sales and marketing with unique opportunities for rapid career progression.
You’ll gain hands-on experience, executive exposure and fast growth opportunities while working closely with HBG leadership and startup founders!
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with HBG and client leadership to develop messaging that effectively speaks to urgent ‘up at night’ problems
- Identify healthcare and life science prospects that are facing the exact problems our clients solve
- Conduct proactive outreach to prospects through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media to generate interest in our client’s solutions
- Coordinate and schedule initial calls with prospects for our customers’ leadership and sales teams
- Share market feedback to improve messaging, positioning, and campaign effectiveness
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leads to continually refine processes and playbooks for long-term success
- Manage and track lead activity, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and desire to learn new skills, building towards a career in sales or marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport and fostering relationships
- Resilient, able to handle rejection or ghosting from prospects without taking it personally
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus but not required.
- Any experience and knowledge of the pharma industry is a plus but not required.
