About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Home Health Nurse Supervisor to oversee the clinical operations of our home health agency. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and leading a team of skilled nurses. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership & Oversight
- Supervise and manage the clinical department to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Direct the implementation of approved work methods and procedures.
- Monitor patient care services, evaluating and improving outcomes through OBQI/OBQM data.
- Ensure the assignment of primary case managers based on patient needs.
- Quality & Compliance Management
- Participate in the development and review of agency policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
- Lead QA committees and oversee agency-wide quality assurance initiatives.
- Support staff in meeting high standards of care and service excellence.
- Staffing & Professional Development
- Collaborate with recruiters to achieve optimal clinical staffing levels.
- Identify leadership potential within the team and provide training opportunities.
- Oversee employee performance evaluations and the termination process when necessary.
- Support continuing education programs for clinical staff.
- Administrative & Financial Oversight
- Assist in agency planning, including annual evaluations and reporting.
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure financial accountability.
- Address and resolve patient and staff grievances in accordance with agency policies.
- Community & Organizational Engagement
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community resources.
- Represent the agency in local, state, and national healthcare organizations.
- Support the sales and marketing team as needed.
- Participate in emergency planning and advisory committees.
Qualifications
- Education: Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN or MSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of [X] years in home health care with leadership experience.
