SUMMARYWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage, maintain, and optimize our complex IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across both on-premises and cloud environments. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring our systems perform optimally, securely, and reliably. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to support business operations and drive technological improvements, including managing existing virtualization infrastructure and exploring future migration strategies to modern solutions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage and maintain Microsoft Windows domain, servers, and cloud infrastructure (including AWS and Azure environments)Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, configuration, and interoperability issues that require direct experience with OS Support (Windows, Linux), VMWare, AWS, and networking.Oversee system auditing and compliance processesAdminister and optimize our Microsoft 365 environmentDevelop and maintain laptop imaging and provisioning processesImplement and manage patch management strategiesOversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutionsWindows Server Administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Polices) Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutionsMonitor and optimize application performance and securityProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team membersManage and maintain existing on-premises VMWare virtualization platformsAssist in planning and executing migrations from legacy systems to modern infrastructure solutionsOTHER DUTIESPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of this employee for this job.
