Senior Supplier Diversity Consultant

Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION This position is responsible for identifying opportunities for diverse suppliers to support all functions at HCSC, research the pre-qualification of diverse suppliers, maintaining a procurement opportunity pipeline, integration of Supplier Diversity into other business processes (including Procurement), maintaining awareness and documentation of current and prospective supplier capabilities, supporting a network of Supplier Diversity champions across HCSC, developing responses to RFP questions relating to Supplier Diversity, and supporting the development of subcontracting plans. This role is hybrid/flex and requires in-office visibility three days per week, working from the other two days. NOTE: sponsorship will NOT be extended; relocation assistance is not offered ~ JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain management or related field. 7 years’ experience working in a business environment. Capacity to collaborate cross-functionally and direct others on processes and procedures related to job duties. Project management skills; keen analytical skills; outstanding presentation skills. Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office suite. Verbal and written communications skills, including correct grammar, clear, concise and appropriate word choice and tone. Work management skills in prioritizing and managing workload. PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS Experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement processes. Vendor management experience is a plus. Exposure to Supplier Diversity programs. Knowledge of ARIBA Spend Management System and Oracle Financials. Strong negotiation skills.
