What are the responsibilities and job description for the RRT Cardiopulmonary position at Health Career Associates?
RRT - Cardiopulmonary
24 hours per week, Nights, Mon-Fri 7pm-7:30am & every 3rd weekend, part time benefit eligible position.
$15,000 sign on bonus - Relocation bonus upon approval, up to $4,000.
Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes. Provides bedside diagnostic procedures as needed. Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans. Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts the care appropriately. Assists as a preceptor for students and new hires.
Education:
Must be a graduate of a respiratory therapy program.
License/Certification:
Must obtain entry level certification and must have a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC. Must have a current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners. Must have current certification in CPR. Must have ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain in 6 months. Community Hospital locations, must have ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain within 6 months from date of hire or transfer; PALS and Stable preferred but not required.
