The Instructor will utilize learning technology and platforms such as Google Classroom to facilitate effective teaching and patient care education.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of adult learners in a healthcare environment.
- Educate students on best practices in patient care, focusing on acute care and pediatrics.
- Supervise and mentor students during practical training sessions, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Utilize learning technologies, including Google Classroom, to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Assess student performance through evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with other educators and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive training programs.
- Stay current with advancements in healthcare education and integrate relevant updates into the curriculum.
Experience
- Preferred - Proven experience in Phlebotomy Instructor role.
- Background in adult education methodologies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes and instructional design principles.
- Experience using learning technology platforms for course management and delivery.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to guide students effectively during practical applications of their learning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and colleagues alike.
