Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, and treatment goals.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic modalities, providing individual and group therapy sessions to address various mental health concerns.
- Crisis Intervention and Support: Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education: Masters degree in Social Service field required.
- Experience: Two years social work or mental health experience with youth or families.
- Licensure: License preferred (LPC, LMSW, LCSW).
