The Family Centered Treatment Specialist Role
As a Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Specialist, you will provide psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families utilizing the FCT model. This role requires flexibility as services are provided in various settings, including the home and community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver FCT services to children, adolescents, and their families, primarily in their living environments.
- Provide 24/7 on-call coverage to a caseload of families and children.
- Complete all required Clinical Records and FCT documents with the child and family.
- Work collaboratively with the identified Treatment Team members to ensure effective communication and coordinated service provision.
- Conduct ongoing revisions of Service Plan and implement it accordingly.
- Assist families and children in establishing weekly goals and identify steps to achieve them.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field.
- Two years experience working with youth or families.
- NC, VA- QMHP certification or ability to register as a QMHP.
