Our Role
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling, a genuine desire to help, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address various mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with clients to develop coping skills, stress management techniques, and strategies for improving overall well-being.
- Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in a Social Service field is required.
- Two years of social work or mental health experience with youth or families.
- License preferred (LPC, LMSW, LCSW).
