Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in Northern Light's Assisted Living - The Oaks. This role requires a strong understanding of medication administration, patient assessment, and discharge planning to ensure optimal health outcomes for our patients. This position will be 16 hours per week and requires you to be on-call. Active Registered Nurse License required.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Perform venipuncture for blood draws and intravenous access.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Assist in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients leaving the facility.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with ICD-9 coding standards.
- Support patients with aliment-related needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
