A large system in Nebraska / Iowa are looking for Night PCU RN's.
2 years as an RN, 1 year of unit experience.

Schedule Information
Contract is for 13 weeks
0630-1900, 1830-0700
Weekend Requirements : Every third with cyclic rotation
Holiday Requirements : Every third
First week is onboarding and then 1-2 days of orientation on the floor
Unit Specific Information
Beds : 35
Ratios : 1 : 4-5
Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Adults and geriatrics, Cardiac, nephrology, strokes, DM, continuous EEG monitoring
Are RNs required to titrate drips? : Yes
Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Cardizem, betablockers, seizure medications
Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? : Charge Nurse
Are there nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties? : 1 : 10 or 2 : 20
Floating Requirements : Medical floors, ICU, or rehab
Additional Details
This is a fast paced floor
Attributes that will help a nurse be successful on this unit are a positive attitude, helping others, good communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to problem solve
Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidate may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
