Position Overview
We are looking for a versatile Customer Reporting and Digital Implementation Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has a deep knowledge of display ad technology, email and website development, and has a strong ability to generate and deliver data reports for customers. You will assist with the technical implementation of ads, emails, and first- and third-party tracking of campaigns, internally and with vendors. The ideal candidate will help design and implement our marketing technology stack, integrating various tools and platforms to enhance operational efficiency and drive measurable business growth.
Essential Job Functions
- Review client data feed requirements, onboards new requests, deliver data feed and files to clients. Interface directly with client data teams when needed.
- Implement and automate data workflows for customer reporting, integrating data from diverse sources to streamline operations.
- Lead the technical integration and management of third-party tracking tools and platforms for comprehensive campaign analysis and optimization.
- Oversee and direct vendors supporting email and web development from a technical perspective, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Implement and troubleshoot advertiser assets, first-party and third-party tracking.
- Develop and deploy email campaigns, focusing on technical execution to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
- Design and develop websites and landing pages, ensuring usability, responsiveness, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate closely with delivery management to align technical implementations with business goals and ensure seamless execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend new tools and approaches that enhance operational efficiency and performance.
- Document processes, methodologies, and data definitions to ensure consistency and transparency.
Reporting
- Data Integration & Automation: Experience integrating diverse data sources and automating workflows, especially in customer reporting.
- Database Management: Experience with SQL or other database management systems
- Server-Side Scripting: Knowledge of server-side languages like Python
- Data Reporting & Visualization: Proficiency and/or certification with tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Client Interface: Experience working directly with clients to understand data needs and deliver data files.
Development
- Web Development: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript for developing websites or landing pages.
- Email Development: Familiarity with HTM, CSS, email client compatibility developing emails.
- Server-Side Scripting: Knowledge of server-side languages like Python (preferred).
Display Ad Technology & Implementation
- Experience and/or certification with platforms like Google Marketing Platform, Double Verify, or similar tools.
- Experience generating and implementing third party tracking code
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, web development, and data management.
- Strong technical skills in display ad management platforms (e.g. Google marketing Platform, Double Verify), email marketing tools, and web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Proficiency in using analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience in implementing and managing data workflows for customer reporting, utilizing BI tools for data visualization and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of server-side scripting languages (e.g., PHP, Python) and database management systems (e.g., SQL).
