What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASC Facilities Manager position at HEALTH PARTNER ONE LLC?
General Summary: The ASC Facilities Manager performs general maintenance work to ensure maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained, as well as all monthly, quarterly and annual CMS and Life Safety Checks for all ambulatory surgery centers are completed and documented timely.
Main Responsibilities:
- Completes minor repair work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc, at the ASCs
- Assists in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems and makes minor repairs/replacements, and coordinates with outside contractors for larger jobs, seeking bids, and overseeing that work
- Assists in checking and makes minor repairs on general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipe lines, toilets and sinks, and kitchen equipment and coordinates with outside contractors for larger jobs, seeking bids, and overseeing that work
- Responds quickly to work orders. Follows up to ensure requestor satisfaction
- Performs all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual testing of systems as required by CMS and the life safety code as well as all NFPA codes
- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
- Follows company policies and procedures
Education/Experience/Knowledge:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of five years experience to include working in building operations
- General knowledge of machines and maintenance and repair using basic hand and power tools
- General knowledge of the life safety code standards for healthcare facilities
- Will be required to work in fast paced environment
- Must display a high level of confidentiality
- Must have a neat appearance
- Must be highly organized and maintain detailed reports
- Must maintain an organized work area
- Verbal and written communication skills are necessary
