Role Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team. This full-time role involves providing outstanding mental health care services across various locations in Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Preset and manage medication regimens, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress.
- Provide supportive psychotherapy and patient education on mental health conditions.
- Maintain organized and thorough patient records, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Monitor patient progress and make referrals to specialized medical treatment as needed.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and team members for optimal patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest research and treatment protocols in psychiatry.
- Address and manage crises in a calm and effective manner, ensuring patient safety.
- Develop trusting relationships with patients, providing compassionate and empathetic care.
Requirements:
- Valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Florida.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and evidence-based treatment practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and crisis management skills.
- Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with common mental health conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and substance abuse.
- Familiarity with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy for medication-resistant depression is a plus.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Competitive salary: $120,000 - $130,000 in the first year, with a salary increase to $140,000 starting in the second year.

Additional Information:
