Job Description : Responsibilities
The Project Specialist will assist in the coordination of space, construction, relocations and office modification projects; develop a Project / Space SharePoint site which will include building lease information to help coordinate lease redecoration clauses and renewals; monitor Vehicle Usage Logs (VULs) submitted by DOH drivers on a monthly basis; ensure completeness and accuracy; and perform other appropriate related duties.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience working on projects or closely related project experience; OR an associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Microsoft office suite products, experience scheduling meetings, knowledgeable or experience in the fields of drafting, design and / or construction.
Conditions of Employment
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Travel, up to 10% of the time, will be required.
The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states : New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire. Telecommuting will be available.
