JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for providing maintenance services to HealthRIGHT 360 facilities. Providing high quality customer service, the Maintenance Worker assists the program staff to ensure that the operational needs of all facilities are met. Team member will operate with a focus on service and support, takes pride in the quality of their work, holds themselves and others accountable, follows through on obligations, effectively communicates and responds to inquiries, and engages their role with a sense of compassion and partnership to help further the agency’s mission and goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance Responsibilities: Carry out inspections, repairs, and upkeep for specialized systems like heating and cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems. Repairs damaged areas of facility. Assesses repairs and maintenance needs for outside contracting as needed. Responsible for completing monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance walkthroughs, following through with corrective actions, and providing findings to program leadership. Assists professional contractors. Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to address complex technical issues and facility needs. Support the implementation of special projects, renovations, or system upgrades as assigned.
Administrative Responsibilities: Keeps records for jobs completed for weekly maintenance summary. Updates Maintenance requests in ticketing system, responds to staff submitting tickets in a timely manner, and updates preventative maintenance checklists during walkthroughs. Collects require paperwork from vendors. Maintains schedule of facility needs that need to be routinely addressed in a timely manner (i.e. replacement of fire alarm batteries, etc.)
Health and Safety Responsibilities: Assist with building compliance with all regulatory agencies, funding sources, certification and licensing boards including but not limited to CARF and OSHA. Assists the Health & Safety Monitor of each site with the compliance of Site Specific Emergency Response Plans.

Education and Experience
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid and clean California driver’s license
- Minimum 5 years experience providing professional maintenance duty services
- Must have a reliable vehicle and have own tools
- Knowledge of basic building trades techniques
- Experience with wide variety of construction tools, methods and materials
- Understanding of and ability to maintain boundaries with participants
- Handyman experience
- Must be able to work weekends; some evenings may be required
- Must be able to travel, if needed
- Knowledge of building code and licensing requirements for residential treatment facilities
- Experience with earthquake preparedness
- Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health treatment
