Job Overview
We are seeking dynamic and compassionate PRP Outreach Workers to represent our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. In this role, you will engage with potential clients, educate them on the benefits of psychiatric rehabilitation, and facilitate their connection to our specialized mental health services. Your efforts will play a crucial role in expanding our impact within the community.
What PRP Outreach Workers Do
- Educate & Inform: Clearly explain the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), detailing how our services support mental health recovery, skill development, and community reintegration.
- Outreach & Engagement: Identify and engage with potential clients through community outreach, events, and referrals, ensuring they understand how PRP can benefit their mental well-being.
- Client Coordination: Assist prospective clients by scheduling consultations with our mental health professionals and support team, guiding them through the enrollment process.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of contacts, interactions, and follow-up communications to ensure effective service delivery and client tracking.
- Collaboration: Work closely with mental health professionals, social workers, and family support networks to tailor our services to individual client needs.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant mental health guidelines, ethical standards, and privacy regulations during all outreach activities.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Understanding of Mental Health: A foundational knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation and mental health issues, with a willingness to learn and grow through ongoing training.
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear, empathetic manner.
- Outreach Experience: Prior experience in community outreach, client engagement, or related fields is preferred.
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage contacts, follow-ups, and documentation with precision.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, set goals, and meet outreach targets in a dynamic environment.
