Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole-person care. With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, case managers, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
We’re hiring for a Clinician to join us in partnership with the YWCA, serving adults, children and families at the Mariposa Center for Safety on Santa Fe Ave, in Pueblo, CO.
What You’d Be Doing
As a Clinician you would be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team working to promote healthy youth and families in an outpatient environment. Your work in case management, crisis intervention, and outpatient therapy to individuals, families, and groups means you would have rewarding opportunities to directly enhance the wellbeing of our community now and in the future.
Specifically, the Clinician
- Facilitates quality programming among clients ranging of all ages.
- Conducts intake and assessment, employing professional interpretation and clinical analysis to develop effective treatment plans;
- Provides individual, family, and group therapy based on assessed need;
- Conducts case management in collaboration with resources in the community;
- Provides crisis intervention;
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records with 100 percent compliance with Health Solutions’ standards;
- Maintains 100 percent productivity for billable services;
- Maintains proficiency with the electronic health record;
- Provides consultation and education services; and
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Physical requirements include the following
- Frequently remains active with clients for prolonged periods
- Frequently moves within and between facilities
- Occasionally moves equipment and/or materials up to 20 pounds
- Frequently exposed to stressful or emergent situations
- Constantly communicates with clients and other staff members
- Occasionally exposed to communicable diseases or bodily fluids
- Frequently uses computer and other office equipment to enter, manage or look up data
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For—The Must-Haves
- A master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a closely related field
- Colorado clinical license (i.e., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or
- Must be willing/able to obtain candidate status with DORA within 2 weeks of hire date.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Colorado driver’s license and access to transportation during work hours
What We’d Like to See in You—The Nice-to-Haves
- At least one year of mental healthcare experience with children and adolescents
- Experience providing mental healthcare with early childhood children
- Spanish language skills
