What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Patient Care Coordinator position at Health Star Clinic?
We are a fast paced high volume Chiropractic office who has been family owned for 20 years. We are well known in the Montgomery and surrounding areas for our compassionate staff and excellent customer service. We are looking to add an all-star team player to the team! Experience is highly preferred but not necessarily required. References are REQUIRED. You can email your references to montgomery@healthstarclinic.com.
Once we check your references we will call you for a phone interview. If you are chosen as a top qualifying candidate for the job, you will then be asked to come for an in person interview with Dr. Cobb.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

Providing the BEST Customer Service to our New Patients at all times.
Offering New Patients a water or mint if they are waiting
Smiling and standing to greet New Patients
New Patient Check In
Escorting new patients to the exam rooms to be seen by the Doctor.
Completing and recording New Patient vital signs.
Educating patients on what they can expect this visit
Educating patients about Chiropractic Care (training provided)
Input of new patient demographics, verifying new patient insurance information and benefits, and preparing patient financials for those that did not complete their paperwork online.
Ensuring that the necessary new patient documentation (if collected in office) is easily found in each patient's digital chart according to office protocol
Identifying the need for prior authorization/greet/auth/referral etc. if not provider online paperwork and notifying the correct team member to get it completed promptly.
Ensuring that new patient and ROF appointments are prompt and seamless and that new patients have a wonderful experience.
Answering billing department questions related to new patient insurance verification and benefits, new patient demographics, and new patient financials.
Double checking that new patients are setup in the system in the general tab according to office protocol.
Collecting monies during the patient's 1st visit in office.
In office scheduling of patient appointments out to their prescribed re-examination date according to office protocol.
Distributing New Patient goody bags and ice packs
Calling each New Patient for the Doctors later in the day to see how they are doing.
