HealthBridge Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Services Manager to lead our housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance departments. This key leadership role ensures our facility remains clean, safe, and operational for our residents and staff. You’ll oversee daily operations, manage preventative maintenance programs, supervise team members, and support compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance teams; ensure high cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Develop and maintain department operation manuals, safety procedures, and emergency preparedness plans.
Manage departmental budgets and supply purchasing.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
Schedule inspections and oversee life safety systems, pest control, waste management, and snow removal.
Supervise contractors and ensure quality completion of repairs.
Perform hands-on maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility repairs.
Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and documentation.
Lead the Safety Committee and facilitate disaster preparedness.
Support regulatory visits and maintain documentation of drills and trainings.
Coordinate room inspections for pre- and post-occupancy standards.
Uphold HIPAA guidelines and resident rights.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff.
Conduct performance evaluations, employee counseling, and corrective action as needed.
Prepare work schedules and approve timecards.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
Prior experience supervising teams and managing operations.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds maintenance.
Familiarity with building codes, regulatory standards, and preventative maintenance programs.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficient with basic computer systems.
