Healthcare Arizona LLC, a premier mattress manufacturing arm of the MLILY company, is an air-conditioned 650,000sq feet manufacturing plant in Goodyear, Arizona. We manufacture advanced memory foam mattresses that help you sleep cooler and more comfortably through the night so that you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on whatever the day throws at you.
We are looking for a hard-working Mattress Sewing Machine Technician to assist in the mattress manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sewing inner covers as part of the mattress assembling process ensuring that production targets are met.
**Sitting for long periods of time: ability to sit and saw during an 11-hour shift with two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break.

Schedule:
- Day Shift, 6:30am-6pm, M-F (11-hour shift with two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break)
Pay:
$17/hr & Overtime $25.50/hr
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Sewing inner covers for mattresses
- Meeting production targets
- Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
- Following production guidelines and specifications.
- Reporting any issues to the team leader or supervisor on duty.
- Performing other related tasks as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Previous experience operating an industrial sewing machine
- High School Diploma/GED
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting & Sewing: Ability to sit and sew during an 11-hour shift with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
- Stooping: Bending the body forward and down while bending the spine at the waist 45 degrees or more either over something below waist level or down towards an object on or near the ground.
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound.
- Vision: The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work.
- Temperature: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions, but, must be able to adapt to cold or hot temperatures.
Working Conditions:
- Air-Conditioned Warehouse and Manufacturing environment.
- This position requires standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks doing heavy lifting.
- The work environment may involve exposure to loud noises, chemicals, and machinery.
