The role of the Sewing Machine Operator is crucial in our production process, helping to maintain the high standards of quality and efficiency for which we are known. Please note, this is not a remote job; the successful candidate will be required to work onsite to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate various sewing machines to create and complete assigned sewing tasks.
- Follow garment specifications and handling standards.
- Ensure that each product is sewed following the set design and quality guidelines.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
- Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and oiling equipment.
- Adjust machine settings for different jobs.
- Report any machine malfunctions or sharp declines in quality to supervisory staff promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Keep a tidy and organized work area.
