HealthcareIn is a startup digital magazine dedicated to covering the transformation of healthcare and key issues in biotech and innovation. Additional issues include healthcare policy, M&A in biotech, drug development, FDA, novel drug approvals, and more. HealthcareIn has featured interviews with Nobel Prize laureates, leaders of scientific organizations, and many takes on key issues in healthcare.

Please note that this is a volunteering position, is temporary and remote. This is an opportunity for college students and/or graduates with a strong interest in biotech and social media marketing to grow their experience and contribute to a professional marketing campaign within a startup. More information will be provided upon application.
** PLEASE NOTE: We would like a candidate who has experience in creating a successful social media campaign and/or has successfully grown a social media account for an organization. Through organic growth, we are looking for someone who can help us reach a higher relevant follower base across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Help the startup design a thoughtful marketing campaign across social media platforms (IG, etc.) that helps blog pieces and editorial work reach target audience and build awareness of brand
- Manage and post on different social media accounts for the organization, subject to Editor approval.
- Biweekly meetings with Editor on strategy, marketing, and growth.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in biotechnology and healthcare, as well as business, finance, or entrepreneurship
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program or higher (or graduate)
- Strong knowledge of social media marketing and ability to grow social media accounts organically
- Preferred experience managing a social media campaign and/or account and has helped increase following/target audience attention
- Ability to craft strong and compelling headlines and marketing messaging when necessary.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and enthusiasm for the subject.
