Healthcare Nursing Centers is seeking a seasoned Nursing Home Administrator, licensed in Colorado for one of our facilities located in the Denver Metro area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in the Executive Director’s seat, a strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, experience in working with vendors, discharge planners, community providers and physicians, comfortable with oversite of varied number of staff, and possess strong financial prowess as applicable to our atmosphere. Annual compensation is based on the experience of the potential leader, location, and size of the facility, ranging from $130,000 to $170,000 a year.
The Nursing Home Administrator oversees all operations, functions, and activities in the skilled nursing facility. As a Nursing Home Administrator you will plan, develop, monitor, and support all operational, administrative, clinical, personnel, customer service, and financial activities for the facility’s programs and services to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible to ensure the facility’s residents are receiving quality care.
Essential Functions
- Oversees facility operations to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations, along with company policy and procedure.
- Develops and implements an annual budget and manages operations to ensure all departments maintain within the scope of their operating budget, capital expenditure plan, and facility plan.
- Ensures the enforcement of resident rights as determined by facility policy and government regulation.
- Analyzes operating results of the business relative to established objectives and ensures that appropriate steps are taken to make necessary corrections.
- Promotes a safe environment within the facility including fire and accident prevention, maintenance of sanitary conditions, and facility personnel safety training and safe practices.
- Plans for the development of personnel resources within the company and maintains programs that encourage successful future management of operations.
- Establishes and maintains the effective system of communication throughout the facility.
