Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and oversee the Nursing Department's daily operations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to deliver exceptional quality care to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Nursing Department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in alignment with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate nursing services and maintain continuity of care for residents.
• Handle administrative tasks, including completing medical documentation, reports, and evaluations.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs for each shift, along with proper utilization of medications and safety equipment to uphold quality care.

Qualifications:

• A nursing degree from an accredited institution
• A current, active, and unrestricted RN license in Illinois
• A minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory healthcare role (preferred)
