We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee the maintenance operations of our Skilled Nursing Facility located in the Monsey, NY area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management and possess expertise in a variety of technical areas.
Duties:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, strategies, and programs to ensure efficient operation of all systems.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage budgets, inventory, and equipment procurement related to maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance needs.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and maintenance history.
Experience:
- Proven experience in maintenance management, overseeing a team of technicians.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, logic controllers, and high voltage equipment.
- Previous experience in facilities management and working with CMMS software is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to fabricate solutions when needed.
