We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physiatrist/PM&R Physician to join our physiatry-run team in Northern NJ. Our physicians work in SNF settings, providing consultation and follow-up care. We collaborate closely with patients, their families, rehab staff, physicians, and hospital system pop-health teams. Our commitment is to provide excellent physiatric care by demonstrating dedication to our patients, their families, and client facilities. We have a strong practice philosophy centered on being present in our facilities, serving the needs of our patients, and collaborating with those involved in the continuum of care. Our goal is to be leaders in our field by showcasing and promoting the value of physiatry in post-acute care. The incoming Physiatrist will cover a SNF in Western Morris County (near Hackettstown, NJ). We are flexible and can accommodate a part-time or full-time schedule.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform new consultations and follow-up care throughout rehabilitation stays.
- Round on post-acute care patients twice a week or more when medically necessary, track progress, remove obstacles to functional progress, and improve quality of life.
- Maintain an active caseload by being aware of referral sources and potential sources. Capture all referrals diligently.
- Engage with clinical staff regularly and maintain professional relationships with facility physicians, caregivers, administrators, and directors.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families during care, promoting understanding of treatment options and procedures. Set expectations with facilities, patients, and families.
- Attend facility rehab team meetings.
- Document according to protocol and guidelines for billing, coding, and documentation.
- Regularly meet with facility leadership to understand needs and build relationships. Report back to Director on facility happenings and updates.
- Collaborate actively with other treating physicians and Physician Assistants (PCPs, Orthopedists, etc.).
- Unrestricted New Jersey Medical License, CDS, DEA.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R.
- Stay Current Annually with ABPMR and NJBME Licensing & Certification Requirements.
- Full-time or part-time.
- $250k-$300k, depending on desired caseload (full-time with Bonus potential).
- Flexibility (full-time or part-time).
- Compensation with Bonus (value and performance-based comp plans).

- Ongoing support and education by physicians and admin team on documentation, billing & coding, CMS compliance, and best practices.
Salary : $250,000 - $300,000
