Job Title: Medical Laboratory Tech / Medical Laboratory Scientist
At {company}, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Tech/Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. This is a full-time position working the evening shift from 1:00 pm-11:00 pm in a 7 on/7 off rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collects specimens for laboratory examination by venipuncture, various culture techniques, and more.
- Ensures adherence to OSHA, CLIA, and Joint Commission regulations.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Responds promptly to codes, traumas, and emergencies.
- Maintains and operates all instruments, ensuring quality control and documentation.
Requirements:
- Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician certification through the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.
- Associate's degree or higher in Clinical Lab Science (or related field).
- Willingness to relocate to Vernal, UT.
- Prior hospital experience preferred.
